GENERAL APPLICATION INFORMATION
1.
It is a three (3) year apprenticeship program.
2.
You begin program at 65% of journeyman's wage rate.
3.
You become an apprentice when you are placed with an employee.
4.
It is both on-the-job training and related Classes are on Saturdays
for eight (8) hours and are required. Classes are held in Pleasanton.
5.
The Letter of Subscription enables you to solicit your own work as a Cement Mason
Apprentice. If you find a signatory employer willing to hire you, have the employer
complete and sign the Letter of Subscription. Bring the Letter of Subscription to the
Oakland office, 8400 Enterprise Way, Suite 111, to complete your Membership papers
and obtain information on receiving a dispatch out to work.
6.
You are not to begin work until you complete your apprenticeship papers and are
dispatched.
